Select this option only if you are unable to register for the TH 8-12th Modern Dance class and will be providing proof of additional dance classes at another studio.

This class is for our invested dancers who are interested in a more rigorous atmosphere. Dancers will study modern technique, as well as ballet and jazz techniques. Dancers will learn and use appropriate dance terminology, study choreography from modern dance pioneers, choreograph, and develop a deeper understanding of improvisation. Dancers in Junior Company will also have more performance opportunities, will be invited to attend workshops with VDE company members, and will have the opportunity to work with guest artists. 

Requirements for registration: dancer must be in 8th-12th grade and must also register for the 8th-12th Modern Dance class on Thursdays, or provide proof of additional dance classes at another studio.
