Creative dance combines skill development and self-expression. Dancers will increase strength and flexibility through balance, body control, dynamics, and simple patterns. Dancers will apply the elements of dance: space, time, and energy. They will begin to work in groups to problem solve and express ideas through putting movement patterns together into dance phrases.
This class includes performance opportunities in the fall and spring quarters. Taught by Bethany Faux
