We will also be holding a Dance Intensive & Choreography Workshop for Teens July 29-Aug 2. This will be a fun opportunity for teens to learn a variety of dance styles as well as develop their choreographic skills.

      Dive into the wonders of dance with our Creative Dance Summer Camp! Designed for children ages 4 to 6, this class invites children to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of the ocean. Through imaginative play, storytelling, and rhythmic movements inspired by the sea, participants will embark on an aquatic adventure like no other.

      Guided by our experienced instructor, little ones will discover the joy of movement while exploring the depths of their creativity. From swaying like seaweed to leaping like dolphins, students will learn basic dance techniques infused with the magic of the ocean. Through interactive activities and music, they'll dive deep into their imaginations, crafting their own unique dance journeys.

      Parents are invited to come watch the last 15 minutes of class on Friday.

      Ignite your child's passion for dance in our Creative Dance Summer Camp! Tailored for ages 7 to 9,  this class introduces young dancers to the joy of movement through a magical blend of movement, music, and imagination. With a focus on creativity and expression, students will explore basic dance techniques while discovering their own unique style. Join us for a magical journey of dance and creativity!

TUITION:

Tuition will be charged in 8 monthly installments on the last Monday of each month, beginning August 28. Tuition covers classes, registration, and costuming. Tickets for family and friends to attend the year-end performance must be purchased separately through the Eccles theater box office in April. Tuition rates are as follows:

30 minute classes: $20/month

45 minute classes: $28/month

60 minute classes: $33/month

75 minute classes: $38/month

90 minute classes: $45/month


*50% DISCOUNT: Students who take more than one class can get a 50% discount for additional classes. Email your receipt of payment for the first class to vdeyouth@gmail.com and get a coupon code to pay for additional classes at half price. (The discount is for one student who takes more than one class. This is not a sibling discount.)

These scholarships are designed to increase access to arts education opportunities to diverse populations, to individuals for whom the experience may have a significant positive contribution to their lives.     A class specially designed for our dancers with different abilities, typically enrolled in Special Education. This class focuses on creativity and self-expression with the added bonus of strengthening and flexibility work.  While all of our classes are open to all dancers, this class is customized to the needs of the students and moves at the pace specific to those interests and needs. Tuition covers classes, registration, costuming, and class pictures. Tickets for family and friends to attend the year-end performance must be purchased separately through the Eccles theater box office in April. Enrollment for this class is ongoing.     An awesome opportunity for some bonding time with your little one, “Stories in Motion” is an interactive story time you and your child will love. We dance with props and with each other, we sing songs, play instruments, read books and learn through movement. Parents need no dance skills to be a great dance partner! Taught by Tessa Evans.

Dancers will experience different styles of modern dance as well as explore dance concepts in order to truly understand dance and be able to create, perform, and respond to it.
